In 1950 Toyota Motor Corporation (TOYOTA) was facing the crisis of bankruptcy because trucks which were the main items of TOYOTA (those days) could not be sold. Then, TOYOTA tried to develop CROWN which became the first real Japanese automobile after. This is the fierce documentary drama of the birth of automobile king Japan. Five years later CROWN made a debut as the first real Japanese automobile. The engine was L-4 valve Over Head Valve (OHV), and the displacement of it was 1453cc. The max power was 48 ps. In addition, 3MT was equipped. The drive layout was Front engine Rear drive (FR).
