I will tell you one car amazed the world. It is HONDA CICIC CVCC (Compound Vortex Controlled Combustion) which made its debut on July 11^th 1972. The engine was 1200 cc SOHC (Single Over Head Camshaft), and the max power was 60 ps. In addition, the max torque was only 9.5 kg. The transmission was only 4MT. This is the document of young engineers who developed HONDA CVCC engine which first cleared Muskie Act (Clean Air Act) in the world. This document describes the birth of the low-emission engine which had been said “making such an engine is impossible” with Soichiro Honda who is the famous founder of HONDA and intelligent engineer, the interchange of engineers who adore him as daddy, and generational change.
